Borussia Dortmund had a winning start of their 2024/25 Champions League campaign. The last season finalists faced Club Brugge in Belgium, and they were merciless – 3-0. Five different players found the net against the Slovakians as Scales, Furuhashi, Engels, Maeda and Idah scored for Celtic.

At this moment Celtic is enjoying a run of 9 consecutive wins in all competitions since the beginning of the campaign. In their last match they faced St. Johnstone away from home and secured a 6-0 win.
