In the Champions League Sporting started with a win – 2-0 against Lille at home. Now they are aware that a second consecutive win would give the Lisboa lions better chance to reach the tournament’s knockout phase.

Last weekend Sporting secured another win the Portuguese Primeira Liga. The Lions faced Estoril on the road and got an easy one – 3-0. Geny Catamo, Hidemasa Morita and Daniel Braganca scored for Sporting. It was another merciless performance by them.
